Last fall I decided to build this bike from a 1975 CB750K. I had not picked up a wrench or welded a thing in 30 years so it was a real challenge for me. I got the motor and had the machining on the front end done by Ken out at CycleX in WI. Ken was a big help and a really decent guy. Anyway. here are a bunch of photos of my build.

10 extra points for the pictures with the gal on the bike...lol You do know that cycle-x sells a conversion kit for changing the rear brake hub to disc type. Checking out the front braking, it looks like you have enough brakes to do a double endo-flip using just the front braking.

I basically like it - I would have done a few things a little different but that's me and nothing against your work. I'm guessing you will be painting the bike - it will be interesting to see more pictures after the paint.

Yes the bike is low. I mounted the rear-sets about 2" up and 3" back (plenty of clearance) I have 17" wheels front and back. you probably know the stock wheels are 19" front and 18" back. The GSXR front end is about 1" shorter than the stock forks. The overall effect is positive with regards to handling. It tips in well and is very stable (don't think the searing dampener has much to do) but I do drag that pipe with little effort. Ken will be building a new pipe over the winter that sits higher. hopefully that will solve the problem.

Looks good and well thought out. A+++ would do business with again.

Ken really is a nice guy. Talks a bit on the phone, but he has a soothing voice, so it's ok.
